Who We Are

SalivaTec is a facility of Centro de Investigação Interdisciplinar em Saúde (CIIS) of Universidade Católica Portuguesa located in Viseu. It was created in 2014. The laboratory is equipped with state of the art technology and know-how on protein, DNA and RNA identification in small sample volumes. The main goal of SalivaTec is the clarification of molecular mechanisms of disease and the validation of biomarker panels proposed by in silico studies using bioinformatics tools developed in the laboratory.
